Day-by-Day Itinerary
Kathmandu to Dhangadhi / Mahendranagar
Fly or drive from Kathmandu to Far-Western Nepal gateway towns such as Dhangadhi or Mahendranagar. Overnight stay in hotel.
Flight/Drive to Darchula
Travel toward Darchula, a remote district along the Mahakali River. Begin preparation for the trekking route. Overnight stay in Darchula.
Trek to Latinath / Surrounding Villages
Start the trekking journey through river valleys, suspension bridges, and rural settlements. Experience local culture and mountain foothill scenery. Overnight stay in teahouse.
Trek to Khandeswari Area
Gradual ascent through forests and traditional villages with views of surrounding hills and river systems. Overnight stay in lodge or homestay.
Trek to Siti / Lower Alpine Region
The trail becomes more remote with dense forests, waterfalls, and rising mountain terrain. Overnight stay in basic lodge.
Trek to Api Base Camp Region
Reach higher altitude areas closer to the Api Himal massif. Enjoy dramatic views of snow peaks and glaciers. Overnight stay in tented camp or lodge.
Exploration Day at Base Camp
Full day for exploration, acclimatization, and photography around Api Base Camp. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan scenery and peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay at base camp.
Trek Back to Lower Region
Begin descent toward lower valleys through alpine landscapes and forest trails. Overnight stay in lodge.
Trek to Village Settlement
Continue descending toward traditional villages with cultural interaction and local hospitality. Overnight stay in homestay.
Return to Darchula
Complete trekking section and return to Darchula town. Rest and relax after the expedition. Overnight stay in hotel.
Return to Kathmandu
Fly or drive back to Kathmandu via Dhangadhi or connecting routes. Arrival in Kathmandu by evening.
