The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu toward the Helambu region. Passing through green hills, rivers, and rural villages, travelers reach the traditional village of Tarkeghyang. Explore the peaceful village and experience local culture with an overnight stay at a local lodge.
Trek to Ama Yangri Base Area
After breakfast, begin trekking through forests and mountain trails toward the Ama Yangri area. The route offers beautiful natural scenery and quiet Himalayan landscapes. Enjoy mountain views and relax overnight at a local teahouse or lodge.
Ama Yangri Sunrise & Return to Tarkeghyang
Wake up early and hike to the Ama Yangri viewpoint for a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise experience. On clear days, panoramic views of Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, and surrounding peaks can be seen. After enjoying the scenery, descend back toward Tarkeghyang and spend the evening exploring local culture and village life.
